News Release: Dan Wright Hired as Interim Pastor

First Congregational Church of Toulon is pleased to announce that Dan Wright has been hired as our Interim Pastor. Dan received a B.A. in English from MacMurray College and a Master of Divinity from Methodist Theological School in Ohio. He is retired, having served most recently as the minister of the Greater Annawan Parish, which consists of UMC churches in Annawan, Hooppole, and Sheffield. Dan and his wife, Patti, live near Annawan.

Dan has been a guest speaker in our pulpit and we feel that he is a good fit for our church. He will not only be leading our worship services but will be available for hospital visits, shut-in visits, and will have office hours by appointment. His first official Sunday in the pulpit will be September 12, which is Rally Day.  Please join us for Sunday School at 9:30 and worship at 10:30.
